With the assistance the rope wall, students can gain a fresh perspective on their asana practice, build confidence, and increase strength, balance, range of motion and flexibility.
In this workshop we will explore how to work with the rope wall and additional props to fine tune yoga postures - standing and seated poses, forward and backward bends, twists, balances and inversions - with an emphasis on anatomy and proper alignment. We will learn useful cueing and spotting techniques, class sequencing, and how to offer modifications and progressions to make the rope wall practice accessible to students of all abilities.
While this workshop is geared toward yoga teachers, it is open to students of all levels who are interested in deepening their yoga practice.
